Frameless Glass Squash Courts

Frameless glass provides the perfect visual spectacle for this high energy action sport. A show glass squash court should be used for all high end sporting events.

Technological improvements in show glass court design have made the sport more spectator friendly and the main objective of the glass squash court is to achieve great playability and great visibility live and on TV.

The modern glass squash court should not have any external metal supporting structures. This will allow spectatorsa good view  from the seating along the side walls into the court.

The squash court must also have the option to install a light spill cover system on top of the glass, which will prevent light spill over the glass.

The glass squash court must allow an unrestrained view into the court from the back where cameras will be placed at high positions. No metal structure are allowed for the fixation of lights above the back wall as this will disturb the camera viewpoint.

Construction standards and safety requirements

The court construction must be accredited by the World Squash Federation (WSF). The glass walls must be perpendicular and straight. Glass squash court is made from specially tempered safety glass.

The glass surface is covered with microdots. The spectators cannot see the dark dots from the outside and are therefore able to view the players. The bright colours on the inner side of the court cause an optical illusion, which makes it impossible for the players to see the spectators outside the court.
